Kids Learn to Build Video Games On-line

Gaming Bootcamp Video Course

Kids love video games, just ask them. But, what if they could build their own video games? Could you help them success with at that goal? Probably not, but that’s fine because I have a complete video course developed just for this purpose.

During the summer of 2016, our Gaming Bootcamp taught 133 kids how to build video games. Their ages ranged from 7 to 17 and most of them had no prior experience building games.

My five-hour on-line video course is geared toward kids who want to learn how to build their own video games using the Construct 2[link] (which has a free version). This course is entirely video and starts with the basics. I cover multiple video games from scratch, each with step-by-step instructions that can easily be paused, rewound or fast-forwarded to be consumed at your pace.

Gaming BootcampOver 60 students from all around the world have already joined and completed this video course. I have heard from many parents who have actually done the course with their children as a family activity as well.

This course was originally developed to train our Gaming Bootcamp instructors and mentors but I am now opening this course up to anyone.

Through the end of November 2016, you can get the full five-hour video course for only $40, that is 20% off the standard price when using the discount code “NOV2016”, or following this link.
